well worth the money

A friend of mine had one years ago and used it a lot. He'd bring in stews and different sausages (German fellow), etc... throw them in the microwave at work and when they puffed up lunch was ready. I cheaped out and bought one of the less expensive ones that use the thinner cheaper bags. HUGE MISTAKE!!!Couldn't nuke the packages and didn't keep stuff as well as the better machine you're looking at.
I've had the better one for a few years and swear by it. I haven't thrown anything out of the freezer in years and I can now buy the Walton size tray of meat at $3.00/lb instead of paying $4.00/lb for a chop for my supper. Even if you factor in the cost of the bags (they do also have reusable "tupperware" available)mine paid for itself in about 6 months.
