Are the people driving around town and on the highway with their daytimes on.... are you aware that your tail lights are NOT on???  
So frustrating to see bc all you are doing is setting yourself up for an accident. People cannot see you!  
Drive safe.... and be aware of your surroundings!

Problem is a lot of people just hop in their vehicles and go with out thinking twice about anything. Also in alot of vehicles they come on automatically at night, but sometimes the lights don't come on for whatever reason and people don't check to see if there on. I've even seen people driving at night with no headlights and tail lights. Hopefully the cops are pulling those drivers over.

I got stopped a few years back by one of our local RCMP officers, and as soon as their lights came on, I knew what the problem was. It gets pretty easy not to think about lights on vehicles when you get used to the auto setting, sometimes it's more of a situation that a person, who uses the auto setting, turns the lights off, and then when they get back in the don't check, and the way much of the city is lit up you miss it for awhile. I have been flashed a few times and catch on right away, it's not those who forget that bother me, it's the ones who don't realize there's a problem when they get flashed.

I've seen them many times. Some people don't realize that not all vehicles tail lights come on just because the running lights are on. Most vehicles have an assortment of warning lights, so why not one that lets you know you don't have tail lights on.

i am hoping that soon they will make the tail lights come on for day time too since many times in bad weather tail lights are helpful but dont forget that your headlights should illuminate the road enough that you can safely stop in the distance you can see with them so really you should be able to see the car ahead of you with your lights in enough time or you are over driving, dont get me wrong, i do believe tail lights help prevent accidents but they are not the only danger you may come across
