Has anyone tried to return any Christmas articles to Canadian tire after Dec 25 and told they won't give you a credit

But I do remember the signs every where saying no returns on Christmas items after Dec 25.

Makes sense. Out of season items need to be cleared out or packed away. They do not to keep adding to the "packed away'' area. Time consuming and costly.  
 
They also are really sticking to their other policies now.  
 
90 day return limit on most items. No receipt at all? Good luck with that now. I guess this bricks and motar store figures controlling costs and keeping fresh inventory is their answer to online sales.  
 
You have to admit on the shelf products where you can take it home and use/play with it same day or return same day has its advantages over online.  
 
Every retailer in Manitoba can make its own return policy on new items. This store is stickier than most.
