Hey Brandon ppl has anyone seen any of the consoles out and about ? Really trying to find an actual one, but not one for 2-3x the price, or a cheap clone. Clones are kind of fun but don’t have all the games they say they do

Most stores (eb games, Walmart, bestbuy) will be getting regular weekly stock well into 2018. Nintendo announced it will still produce the classic SNES into early 2018. I found mine about two weeks ago at Walmart and at that time they had eight in stock. You just gotta be diligent in checking the stores in the morning (9-11).

All of these locations do get weekly stock [b]now[/b]. You just need to call relentlessly and check to see when they get them. You could also try Shoppers Drugmart as they get them there as well. Just be a reminder: most places won’t tell you when they get them or how many they receive.  
 
Also, this spring we should be seeing the NES Classic Edition hitting the shelves again. Just be patient and keep checking back. It’s Nintendo’s fault for slow production and slow release. They do this every time. The Wii was painful, and the Wii Fit game was just as bad. The Wii U was mediocre but that was because nobody was as interested in it.  
 
Just be careful, keep a watchful eye out, and keep checking back as frequently as possible. It’s the best advice I can give you.

They had some for sale at the direct store 18th street north in the old sears building.

If it’s direct they will be selling the clones which OP says they don’t want. Direct is very misleading with their advertising of those things hoping to fool people that they’re getting the real deal.

Only original true SNES/NES mini will have the Nintendo logo on it. The number of games will be wrong or have games you just know don’t exist ei super Mario 5

The nes and snes classics only have about 30 games. The clones say 500-600 games.

You can run hackchi on your nes/snes classic and install your legal Roms as well. Just a Linux based emulator runs of it anyways

With this mod you can load every game imaginable.

I agree with what you are saying. How is anyone supposed to get one when GREEDY scalpers get them then try to sell double the price. Seriously they should be called out about it. Especially those selling on ebrandon...

I got one at EB in the Corral center on Thursday, they had 2 left there after I got mine, they usually show up around noon later in the week. They will tell you if their in transit to the store but won't hold. Just keep checking back.

The mall location had some. The last few sold out yesterday as a friend was able to get one. They should be getting more in, they just can’t reveal how many units or as someone else mention, hold any. It’s all about luck.  
 
I even checked the source, they never got any at all even when they were first released and their cashier told me make sure I don’t buy one for more than the msrp or it’s a rip off.

There is now another person selling one for $220 these people are so disgusting even admits they opened and played it. Whoever buys it for that prices is being severely ripped off
