Which companies transfer vhs material to a DVD

I got this for Christmas and it contains everything you need. Most if not all laptops don't have disc drives anymore so I don't know how much help this will be. You need the disc to install the software. The recorder plugs into your laptop via USB and the other end goes into the RCA in on your VCR. Good luck!!

I got one of these on ebay for under $15 from a seller in BC. Comes with software as well. Delivered in a week .  
I put lots on DVD but found it easier to put on flash drives or a spare hard drive. Plugs right into the smart tv and plays no problems.

I have to concur with the previous poster about favoring USB drives over optical media. Optical drives will eventually be displaced by high density forms of solid state storage when the technology becomes more affordable (no spinning drives = no moving parts = faster access times). Look at how solid state drives are already displacing conventional hard drives as boot devices. I'd be looking to the future if I were archiving video to a storage medium other than magnetic tape.
