Those who think they bump up prices must be blind.
Everytime MTS did a price increase, notice was printed on the bills 3 months prior to the increase.
All it takes is reading the bills. Also the bills are not hard to read at all. Nicely itemized so you know what you are paying for.
Most complaints are, how do I say, user made?
Not saying MTS is perfect, because they are not (I have had my dealings with them), but consumers rarely take any responsibility of their own.
Case in point this thread. MTS will not put anything on anyones account (even if free) unless they were authorized too. That means, if they were giving away a Theme Pack for free, someone in the household (whose name is ON the account) authorized adding it and just forgot to call to take it off before they got charged for it.
I've done it, my ex has done it as well (he was authorized on the account and made changes to channels. As I gave authorizatiob to have him on my account, I had to pay for any changes he made as well).
Before always pointing blame at the company, look at yourselves first. Who is authorized on your account? If you have a MTS MyAccount, does anyone have the username and password that they can log in and change stuff (you can change your Theme Packs online through MyAccout witg no authorization like when you call in). And before you say no to the username and password, remember most sites ask if you want to save the username and password for future visits (did you click yes?)
There are so many variables that can happen, but no one ever wants to look at them, they just ass the buck to the company and blame them.
Time to take some responsibility. I did. If I call in and realize it was MY mstake, I apologize. No one does that anymore either.
