LOL,there's no such thing as "real time". I mean, the whole idea is a human concept/invention. Yes, the earth rotates at a given speed during it's orbit around the sun, but years, days and hours were chosen as the way we measure it. So, we could just as easily divide one complete rotation into 10 units or 100 units instead of 24 units of measure. We chose twenty four.
With that, I hope they don't get rid of Daylight Saving Time. I like having the late sunsets during the summer too. I agree with those who said that if we are going to stay at one time year round, then let's stay with DST all year.
