North Dakota to end Sunday shopping restrictions. Manitoba effect?

From the story at the link below, North Dakota on Aug 1 won't be restricting Sunday shopping hours any more.
Manitoba of course relaxed our restrictions a half dozen years ago to the 9am - 6pm hours that we have now, but still have hours that start later and end sooner than the other six days of the week. Historically there's been a lot of passion on both sides of this debate, but does the change in North Dakota in any way effect what should be allowed in Manitoba?
