What is the most concerning topic that you are focusing on during the Provincial election. Which party seems to has the best solution for that topic.  
 
Let's keep this clean and no mud slinging please. I saw enough of that last night during the leadership debate.

Whoever will pass a law that politicians must be accountable for all their promises made during an election will get my vote! Also as a civil servant I have seen every premier freeze our pay while giving themselves increases, so maybe a pay cut and pension cut for politicians would help our budget.  
Or how about privatizing politics and the province becomes a corporation with board of directors responsible for decisions they make. Then us public shareholders can fire them at any time instead of having to wait till next election.  
Seriously though I have never seen any government follow through on all their promises, so lets start there.

When all the smoke and glitter clears, we are all most concerned about how much money we have to buy the things we want or need. The cuts that have been made are just that, cuts, you have a set amount of money that can be spent and if a cut is made to pay Peter then Paul goes without. We need to make sure the proper cuts are being made and that same money is being spent where all Manitobans want.  
 
I find that most people are very selfish and very shallow minded in their political decisions, we all need to look at the big picture here.  
Cutting our natural resource economy and forcing Manitobans to pay more taxes to use such resources is only getting us further from my original statement. I think most people want more money.  
 
I’m a pretty healthy person and don’t rely on the healthcare system to make it through my day, month, or year really: but I think that a system that charges a user fee or emergency room fee for non urgent care is something that would help with not only costs but it would reduce wait times for those that really need a doctor!

Sorry but then to account for the money you need 3 shift people minimum, plus weekend cover, add supervisor and manager. No savings more employees greater wage bill, more pensions etc. Defeats the o:bject.

The last time that the Conservatives were in power, they passed balanced budget legislation. When the NDP were elected, it didn't take them long to first water the balanced budget legislation down, and then kill it all together.  
 
So, even if one party passes a law, the next one can kill it.

I'm sorry, but you say that people are selfish and "shallow-minded" and then go on to proclaim how as an unhealthy person you don't think you should be paying for the healthcare of others, and that people that need to use our healthcare system should be charged a "user fee."  
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems extremely selfish and entirely antithetical to how the Canadian healthcare system works.  
 
Your idea sets our quality of care back 50 years. That's borderline privatization. A notably horrific way to run a healthcare system.

Sorry, I would rather have a fully funded, well working medical system. I am generally a pretty healthy person. Rarely get sick, don't go to the hospital much, etc. Yeah, I have a ongoing pres:cription, but other than that, pretty healthy. But I have not problem paying so that those in need can get the care they need!  
 
But, since you are selfish and shallow minded (your word's, not mine), think about this. Right now, you don't use the healthcare system much. Hope you don't get older, and find you do need it. And can't afford it under your system! Note, in case it is not clear, this is NOT hoping you don't get older. So please do not take it that way.

The current business revolution is technology. We have zero effort put into the future by all parties. Manitoba should create it’s own “Silicon Valley” by creating/connecting educated parties with investment money. The money stops to flow when you can’t keep up. Manitoba isn’t even trying.

It's all about economics and growth. I moved here from Saskatchewan, and what a culture shock! Manitoba is one of the most archaic places I've lived in terms of government control over businesses. I know a share holder for a big surveying company that operates in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and he said they refuse to come to Manitoba because of the restrictions placed by government. I saw that the PC's have a plan to lift some of the regulations, so they're getting my vote.
