Although our dollar is starting to drop, I recall seeing many items at a substantially lower cost when I was in Minot about two months ago. If memory serves me correctly, I thought that there was talk of retailers up here doing a reasonable job of price 'matching' to keep the money flowing in the local economy. One of the items I saw, was a type of vinyl siding that we also have available here....but it is half the price there, meaning a savings of over $2000 for me unless our dollar suddenly hits 50 cents.
