I am just wondering what place has the best fireworks/activities to go camp at? I was thinking maybe Clearlake? A live band would be awesome!!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

There are many places with fireworks happening in and around Brandon and the province for June 30th and July 1st.  
Thursday, June 30  
Holland, Lake Metigoshe, Whitewater Campground - Elgin, Shoal Lake  
 
Friday, July 1  
Brandon, Killarney, Minnedosa, Neepawa, Ninette, and Onanole  
 
Call around to town's recreation departments or visit their websites to see what's happening.

I know most places have them, I’m just trying to get peoples personal experiences on where they think is the best. But seeing as how you mentioned lake metigosh I got a question. I’ve been trying to find a place to camp there, and all I can find is the one campsite and it’s all seasonal. Do you know where you can camp by night/weekend there? Thank you!!

We camped close once at Shady Oaks on the Transcanada by Sdney [campground now called something else] and went to the fireworks in Austin for Canada Day. They were quite good, we were impressed! Also have been at Assessipi camping Canada Day and went in for fireworks to Binscarth. Also very good. Also had other things going on for the day. I believe the firework location rotates every year between Binscarth and Russel.

They usually have a big fireworks display over the lake. Last year it was cancelled due to the extreme drought there. This year with all their rain that shouldn’t be an issue. They have lots of campsites there

Thank you guys that’s some good ones I’ll have to check them out, I’m going to assume a lot are pretty booked up already so I’ll have to see what’s available!
