10 hour work day??

I've been hearing/reading a lot about how in the US a lot of the schools and government workers are now getting 3 day weekends in order to save money and energy. There is a significant savings in the energy used in just keeping heat and lights, etc off for that extra day, and people have one day less to travel to work so it saves them gas.
If you were offered to work a 10 hour day for 4 days in exchange for Fridays off, would you want to do it?
