Another child has died in the care of Child and Family Services. This seems to be a real problem. These poor children get shuffled around so much. There was a story recently in Winnipeg about a foster family willing to keep all the brothers and sisters together in their home, but CFS came in and split them up and placed them in different homes. Can't really remember the details, but why? They were together with a family willing to take them.
Is there a shortage of workers - then lets get some gov't programs out there to help people become CFS workers. Instead of spenging money on laws like smoking in cars, texting in cars (which neither I agree with), but these children are never going to get anywhere in life, with all the shuffling around. If they don't committ suicide, or get battered and abused first.
