For those of you who haven't heard of the digusting incident that recently occured in Oshawa, Otario, please take the time to educate yourself about what occured.
To make a long story short, two lesbian women were physically and verbally assaulted in their children's elementary school parking lot by a man spewing anti-Gay slurs and hate. In front of their screaming and frightened children: in front of their children's friends and parents.
Prior to the the assault, the man was furious with the couple because they had confronted the school principal about their son being bullied, both physically and emotionally, by the man's son. They among others have had issues with this man before, who has proven in the past and with this occurance that he has no respect for anyone or their property.
To top things off, one of the women is currently disabled with a broken spine.
The man is charged with two counts of assault, and has been released from jail until his court date in December. The two women, including their supporters, are trying to elevate this these charges to reflect the hate crime that was committed against them infront of their children, who are now too afraid to go to school or leave their parents' side.
Please take the time to watch or read the following news articles. Don't tolerate hate, please support these young women and their family through this incredibly difficult time.
