Canada's largest wind farm to be built in Manitoba

Per the linked article below, an Australian company called Babcock & Braun is on it's way to building a massive 130 turbine wind farm near St. Joseph in Southeast Manitoba. It still needs regulatory approval, but when built it would be the largest of it's kind in Canada. Manitoba Hydro has signed on to purchase energy from the farm for 25 years so is obviously a major stakeholder in the project:

The idea of harnessing wind power in the our part of the province has come up in the past, including it being a fringe issue during the last Mayoral campaign.
