Economy hurting the gangsters too

apparently with the economy slumping (especially in alberta right now) Ont, is seeing their big name gangsters returning to their cities. They aren't expected to stay in Ontario for long though, since MB and SK are experiencing stronger financial growth than the other provinces.
I wonder what our police and others are planning to do in the face of this? (or are they planning at all?) {Not bashing the police, just wondering if they'll this seriously, or if its wishful thinking of the authorities in Ont?)
