Sentencing circle recommendations

Well, i had high hopes and even argued that perhaps the sentencing circle would try to suggest something that would fit the crime. Unfortunately i was wrong, (see, every once in a while that happens, not very often though, lol
) According to cbc the circle has recommended that they want him to reunite with his family, assist the elders and go to drug and alcohol treatment. but no jail time.
Fortunately the judge still has the last choice and will hopefully not allow this (in my opinion) very weak sentence/punishment to be all he recieves.
