Per the linked article below, they say that Brandon West is behind a resolution at this week's Manitoba NDP convention to make learning labour history manditory in our province's grade 9 classes. The article cites the reason as being "to counter anti-union messages many youth are 'bombarded' with in the media."  
 
Do people think this is a good idea or bad idea? In either case, is there a line in terms of course material that if crossed makes this better or worse?
