Per the articles below, only us, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and PEI are expected to experience economic growth in 2009.
Reason cited being our "Large public and private capital projects, a resilient labour market and personal income tax cuts will lift Manitoba’s economic growth by 1 per cent in 2009"
Saskatchewan holds the distinction of being named the province with the highest expected rate of economic growth, 1.6%.
Not making the list for the first time in 15 years is Alberta:
