Grand Forks forecasting second highest flood on record

Per the CBC article below, Grand Forks is expecting a crest of as high as 15 metres. The 1997 Red River flood that devastated Southeaster MB was 17 metres:

Luckily for Brandon, the MB govt is currently not expecting anything out-of-the-norm for the Assiniboine, saying that average weather conditions between now and Spring may result in minor flooding during April. They still stay that unfavourable weather could result in 1997-ish flooding, but are going nowhere near forecasting that at this point:
