Prime viewing for Narcisse snakes: May 10 (Mothers day)

Per the link below, it looks like the best time to see the largest concentration of garter snakes in the world will be in a couple weeks, May 10.
I'm curious how many Brandonites/Western Manitobans have made the trip to see what's become a pretty substantial tourist attraction?
