Chretien, Martin urge Ignatieff to force election soon

As many may have heard, one of the big news bits out of the current Liberal convention is that the two most recent Liberal Prime Ministers- Chretien and Martin- are among those urging new party leader Michael Ignatieff to topple the government sooner rather than later and send us to the polls. Chretien believes the party is in a `very good position to win.`
In December and January when there was talk of an election, there was noticable voter burnout in many people. Others suggested it might be the only way to solve the issues that Ottawa has been facing.
Two questions:
- #1, do you think that Ignatieff can get enough support in areas that gave Dion trouble last election to win?
- #2, what are your thoughts on the timing of another election. When Chretien says soon, I assume he means that we should be looking at fall?
