US border crossing requirements change Monday
5/28/2009 at 9:24 AM
Monday is June 1, and that means that after several years of controversy the new US border crossing requirements will come into effect. Anyone wanting to drive across the border will require a valid passport or one of a few other documents.
For anyone that makes the odd drive to Minot, Fargo, etc... have you already had a passport for other reasons? Have you recently gotten one (or the enhanced Manitoba drivers license) in preparation for the change? Personally I have neither, so until I fire off the proper papers I'll be grounded on this side of the 49th.
