Fair is over...time for the Ex?

So after spending my entire fair week working at the fair here in town, I've decided that I'm going to trek to Winnipeg to take in their Exhibition so I actually get on some rides this summer. I have never been. I used to go in Saskatoon almost every year and I'm pretty excited...especially since Saturday is a big Caribbean Fiesta all day and I assume there will be all sorts of shenanigans and general tomfoolery.
Is anyone else taking in a second amusement event? Does anyone skip the Fair to take in the Ex?
