Native School Compensation Revisit

Not to bring up any old feelings of the old discussion but it is in the news again. Looks like a 15 billion dollar lawsuit to include the day school group that went home each day. This comment kind of irks me - “The apology doesn’t mean anything to them because it doesn’t include them,” Mason says. “Until that day comes that everybody is included in getting justice and fair compensation, there will be no rest.” I thought that when the apology was made it meant to all native school attendees, would it not? And the fair compensation? So can people move on with another Sorry, here's a check?

I wish both the natives and government could sit down and re-write to today's society and changes. I would really like to see this over and have equality on both sides. As someone who had nothing to do what happend back in the day, I sure do feel it a lot. I just hate being called racist everytime I quesiton something.
