Dead fish all over Killarney Lake

Some friends who are annual regulars to Killarny lake came back this weekend saying there are a LOT of dead fish this year.
THey said that in any given place, you could spot a minimum 10 dead fish, all over the place.
Anyone else noticed things like this? I'm sure anyone near Pellican lake is used to this kind of thing, but i've never heard about it at Killarny Lake.
