Canwest files for bankruptcy protection

Per the links below, Canwest has filed for bankruptcy protection for Global TV and the National Post (but NOT some of its specialty TV stations or other newspapers in the country).
The move will give them 4-6 months of "stability" while they re-organize. CEO Leonard Asper has said that things will remain steady as she goes for Global and the Post throughout the process.
Can anyone make a more educated guess than I at what the national media landscape will look like five years from now?
