Liberals take turn on the attack

Some may have seen this in the news over the past day...
The Conservatives got a lot of press for their controversial attack ads aimed at Michael Ignatieff shortly after he took over as Liberal leader.
It appears the Liberals are taking a page out of their book and have drafted attack ads of their own (online, radio, print), aimed at Stephen Harper's controversial decision to prorogue parliament for a second time.
Do you think these ads are justified?
What effect do you think they might have?
What do you think about our political parties taking these types of swings at each other between elections?
