Governments taking Reponsibility
3/2/2007 at 8:38 AM
At what point is a government responsible? I was listening to CBC this morning and Premier Gary Doer was blaming decisions made by the prior Conservative government for the Crocus investment problems. I neither invested in Crocus or pretend to know exactly what happened but it disgusts me how the NDP blame the Conservatives when the NDP have been in office since 1999 – That’s 2 terms – 8 years
It’s time for the NDP to stand up and take responsibility for their record over the last 8 years. We hear that their record of accomplishments is what they will base their election campaign on.
I could go on to question what our representative, especially NDP MLA Drew Caldwell and Conservative MP Merv Tweed, do other than dance to their particular leaders songs,, but that’s another discussion.
Just interested to know if other people find this lack of acceptance of responsibility by government as disappointing as I do.
