I just recieved a phone call from Drew Caldwell and Gary Doer's representatives...and now I am mad...First off it started off with the normal ramblings of some elderly lady. Until she asked if I was extremely impressed by all of the improvements done in the East End of Brandon. I simply said "no, not at all"...well she fumbled and handed the phone off to the seasoned "guns of the operation"...I simply stated the conditions in the East End...Road conditions, street lights, no safe public parks for children, (she claims there is one park) lol...I guess our MLA is also taking credit for Rideau Park, in which it was CITY that took initiative and cut down the trees, I can name those responsible...She proceeded to YELL at me, in defence, saying that Drew is our saviour, that he has made life in the East End soooo very well improved. He took claim for the Hospital (what ELSE could they do? They initially had a closet in which they had to serve WESTMAN REGION...I listed many many problems with life in the East, and the differences in conditions to that of the West...or South.. She informed me that they will be taking away a paddling pool in the East (even less for children, and does not support the Healthy Choices/Healthy living motto's)...I almost called this lady a Biotch...she was a drooling idiot that felt if she yelled how these "boys" are turning the East End into a glorious sanctuary...yet, being a homeowner in the East...I don't see it. There is no park for children to play in (oh she did suggest Rideau...uhhh you better have more of a draw then half naked men), The East is slowly sinking...I have always loved it here, but is completely being ignored by government. Oh and by the way, when did it become practice that these running for Government hire people to yell at you and TELL you how impressed you are??? My ventings and thoughts...never more disgusted...
