Since the topic of homeowners in Brandon having to cut their boulevards have come up a few time in the past. I wondered what does Winnipeg do?
There is actually a bylaw in Winnipeg that says that homeowners have to cut city property adjacent to their homes.

Could you imagine how many city employees Winnipeg would need just to cut all of the boulevards in the city.
And I'm pretty sure many cities have the same bylaw.
