Winnipeg selling naming rights.

I was listening to CBC radio today and the announcers were talking about the City of Winnipeg was to start naming rights for their city buildings, property and events.
Soon Assiniboine Park's name may be sold of to a sponsor. Same goes for places like the convention center, the art gallery etc.
The representative from the city also said the may sell signage on city vehicles much like they already do for city buses. This means we may soon see signs on city trucks, snow plows, and street sweepers,etc.
As for events: events like folklorama may have a sponsor name attached.
What do you think? Should the City of Brandon do the same?
