Minimum wage going up to $8.50

l think it is good to see the Minimum wage going up to $8.50 an hour in the spring,but as usual Lee Bass,the President of the chamber of Commerce thinks it is a bad idea.
He says all that is going to happen is that the customer will end up paying more.well tough titty Mr. Bass,is the average worker not allowed to make a descent living ? Is that poor lady working her buns off as a waitres not worth another 50 cents an hour ? l'm sure you make a good living,why not let other people too.!!
