I am so torn over this. As we know he killed is little girl who was going to never have a quality of life. (for the record, I have mixed emotions about this and am not sure if I am for or against "assisted suicide", but I am leaning for it). Anway, when he told what he had done he was charged with first degree murder. Now, he could have said she suffocated or anything, but told the truth in what he had done. He has spent the last 10 years in prision and was up for day parole today, where he would still have to live in a halfway house. He was denied parole today, which got me to thinking that Karla Holmolka, beacuse of her "bargaining" did not spend near the time this tormented man has for the atrocious crimes she helped to committ. I really believe he would have been a good candidate for parole. There are alot worse criminals out on parole. I don't think he is at all a danger to society, and in fact, his neighbor has said they would all welcome him back with open arms. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
