I was reading a few days ago that Melita is looking at building a large banana as a tourist attraction for their city. Reason being, Melita and that part of the province are apparently (somewhat tongue in cheek) known as the "Banana belt" for its slightly warmer climate.  
 
It's true small towns (especially ones off of major highways) are facing more and more challenges when it comes to attracting visitors. What do eBrandonners think about this one.. would it be enough to get you do drive a little ways off of highway 10? And if not, what would you suggest (if you have a suggestion on a landmark/attraction that you think would work, lets please try to keep them serious).
