Mayor Katz enraged over despicable act

Mayor Sam Katz was tearful and enraged today after a city hall demonstration took an ugly turn.  
 
The participation of one protester carrying a sign apparently depicting the mayor to resemble Adolf Hitler prompted even organizers of an anti-budget demonstration to slam the illustration as an over-the-top and hurtful display.  
 
During a break from city budget deliberations, Katz — pointing out he is Jewish and that his parents were Holocaust concentration camp survivors — said he would have become violent had he seen the protester himself.  
 
"I can assure you that if I were out there at that particular point in time, that individual would not be in an erect position," said Katz.  
 
The sign, depicting Katz in a military cap and moustache, was brought to the mayor's attention by his staff after the demonstration.
