So the CEO of our utility receives a pay of over $460,000.00 a year. Correct me if I'm wrong but is this not more then the salary of the PM? 9 other VP's receive high salaries as well. For the competitive edge and retain talent BS jus doesn't cut it when the utility is going billions in debt. All on our (taxpayers) backs.

And yet Manitoba Utilities Board keeps approving Manitoba Hydro consumers rate increases.

you know, the amounts aren't accurate. According to management. But they will nickle and dime all other employees and hydro customers. Downtown allowance?, really!!

PUB has ordered Hydro to make some kind of plan for lower income people to help with their energy bills when the massive increase occurs.

when it comes to contract bargaining for the union employees, management will try to say that there's no money. Yet, there's always money to increase the management wages yearly.

It's not like management is getting OT or being called in the middle of the night to head out during a storm to fix fallen power lines, replacing blown transformers.

there always seems to be plenty of cash to hire more management or to give them a hefty raise! Happens to other companies/civic/provincial employers too.
