A Canadian winter is enough to scare any terrorist away from coming here to hide out

Some of you think the answer is to lock up the borders - in hopes of keeping out the "terrorists". As I said before, they will get in somehow. Drugs and contraband of all kinds get through security, so do and will terrorists.  
 
Turning a blind eye to those in need is not the answer, it actually may be what ISIS wants.  
 
Some of you think we should go in and "wipe 'em all out"... wipe who out? They, the ones who attacked Paris, are terrorists - they hide in remote and desolate areas and mingle with regular citizens and strike when our guard is down... who do we wipe out to prevent this?

Stephen Harper was absolutely correct in saying that we should go slow & screen them properly.  
If you are so bound and determined that we should open the floodgates and let in so many in such a short space of time, then perhaps you should open YOUR home to a bunch of them first.

interesting is that these Muslim refugees are fleeing persecution by other Muslims. Just because they don't want to follow the twisted version Islam that ISIS is following.  
 
And this situation isn't black and white. ISIS is spreading their twisted ideologies through many online sources and is radicalizing people all over the world. How many Canadians became radicalized and went over to fight with ISIS. While some radicalized refugees may make it through screening, there's likely many Canadian citizens, born and raised here that are more of a threat. One of the Paris terrorists I read was from Paris.

read that some of these radicalized people are using Sony PS4's to communicate. Maybe through play some of these multiplayer online games where they can set up a game and chat with other members and plan.  
 
I think in Paris, they are finding that the terrorists had many different backgrounds. One was a French national, a Syrian passport was found near one, and an Egyptian passport on another. But the passports are believed to be fake. So there are fake passports flying around and that's the scary part for me. If ISIS is providing fake passports to it's members, who knows how many are in western Europe, just waiting for instructions. And they may also be in these refugee camps that Canada is looking at getting refugees from.

I am absolutely NOT saying we shouldn't allow any refugees in.  
I am absolutely saying we should NOT let in thousands of them in a very short time, without proper planning, and screening.  
Putting a rush on things can be just as bad as doing nothing in the long run...

my fear. How much factual background information can be found on many of these refugees? If they truly fled how much documentation do they have, doubt the screeners can call-up the Syrian Government to get the proper documentation for these 25,000 refugees.

Racism? Since when is being concerned about a Religious group racism. They come from many different countries and races with one common thing,the terrorists are all Muslim. The religion of peace is not so peaceful!

Ok if 2% of those 25000 happen to slip throught the screening and everything,that is 500 potential terrorists.  
1% is 250.1/10 of 1% is 25 which is a small number but 25 could do how much harm.  
How many CANADIAN lives would be at risk.  
So I say,at what percent are true Canadians satisfied with that will get through the screening process undetected

should ask the residents of Germany and the other countries how they like the massive, unscreened mass of refugees they had? From what I hear, the current leader of Germany won't get re-elected because of this. How residents have been told they can't do normal things because it might offend. Women can't wear certain normal clothing because of the Muslim men.  
 
These refugees have been very demanding. They want individual housing NOW!! They do not want to follow laws and regulations. Many other stories you hear about their behaviour are true and were witnessed by someone I know who travelled there for vacation and to visit with his family in Germany.

have possible radicalized individuals on our military bases. I bet ISIS leaders are looking at ways to get some of thier trained fighters to be refugees at these bases. The refugees likely won't locked up and have a certain amount of freedom.

Lets do the numbers  
25000 refugees.  
We are presuming that all will be screened,poked,proded and all documentation is legit.  
But if 2% are criminals'/terrorists who somehow fool the system and the Canadian government (like that would be a first),that is 500 potential terrorists.  
1% would be 250.  
1/10 % would be 25.  
How much damage can 25 terrorists do,250?  
I ask you,what percent would you be happy with.  
I know that the number zero % is magic,but we know that isn't possible.  
We now see on some news channels that one of todays arrested carries a Syria passport.  
So are we letting the fox in the henhouse people.  
Just something to think about people.

even if they aren't radicalized when they come here, they could become radicalized while here.

Fairly early on in the campaigning Justin Trudeau mentioned about fast tracking the process for brining in these refugees, and I'm pretty sure that most people heard about that, now this election had a pretty high turnout as far as voters go. Now the election left us with a majority government, so that means that either voters are not very intelligent or don't really consider this a big issue, I'm going with the latter.  
 
As far as I'm concerned we make decisions all the time, and most people live with the opinion that what will be,will be. Yesterday there was a terrorist act in France where many people died or were injured, and for many their lives will forever be altered, but life goes on.  
 
I think of odd things at times, like the chance of something thing happening, and there will be those who say fast tracking the refugee process is just asking for problems, and it may change the odds as far as something happening, but here's a question, if you planned a getaway winter trip, where you were flying to your destination, and you were told that the weather was going to be quite bad for the flight, would you stay home because of increased odds that something might go wrong, or would you go?

It has been reported several times already that a large percentage of these refugee claimants are males in the 18-25 age group.

The sad truth is that ISIS is actually following Islam by the book.  
 
The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule.
