I heard today on 880 that the mother of a 2 year old that died was being charged with second degree murder.  
 
Keep in mind these are charges and she will get her day in court, innocent until proven guilty.  
 
This is such a sad situation and I have had 2 year old kids, they can be challenging and drive you to your wits end but there are options if you can not take care of your kids.  
 
I am not familiar with CFS but I do know they would come take a child if you call them. Having kids under CFS care is not an ideal situation but it is much better than this alternative I think.  
 
This just boggles my mind if it ends up being true, I have no idea how someone could harm a child let alone kill one.  
 
Anytime a child is killed it is tragic, when someone kills them it is even more so, but I can't imagine the poor child being killed by the very person that is supposed to protect them. (again if it is true these are only allegations at this point)

It's always horrible but it happens. There are people out there that are sick because they enjoy harming others and there are those that have a mental illness who can't help themselves. Which ever the case it's just another tragic story of a child being given back to a bad situation.

Maybe I read incorrectly but the mother just got the child back from CFS care. Sad for the child.
