Is anyone following this trial?  
 
If you are not familiar he was a young family man from Ancaster ON, who was murdered after he took two people for a test drive in his truck he was attempting to sell. This is a basic timeline:

What I am just disgusted with is the trial of the accused, Dellen Millard and Mark Smich. The CBC has been running a live blog from the courtroom and while I am trying not to get too caught up in it - even the headlines are enough to make you cringe.

Reading some of their testimony is pretty scary. The whole gang of people they used to hang out with and break the law with before this murder it just paints a picture of a scary underbelly in "suburbia".  
 
There was testimony that one of the mothers even wiped down evidence and the girls that hung out with them, wow, such behavior. I am wondering if this mother of one of the girlfriends that admitted to wiping down the evidence of one trailer will be charged too.  
 
I cannot explain it beyond a feeling of disgust and fright that this kind of group can exist anywhere, especially small town Canada. A group that thrived on drugs, sexual impropriety, crime and general lack of respect for society. And to have parents of these people not only condoning the behaviours but aiding in covering up the crimes....  
 
I am honestly surprised this trial is not getting more coverage across Canada, it paints a picture quite similar to the Karla Homolka/Paul Bernardo story, though with only one victim here.  
 
I truly hope for justice for Bosma''s family and that people everywhere are very careful when dealing with selling items online. I know I thought long and hard about selling a vehicle when thinking back to this story.

I'm also following. I am looking forward to next week to see what happens when the prosecutions gets ahold of Mark Smich. Right now, I'm worried they don't have enough to get them both for 1st. I hope I'm wrong, they are both guilty.

That wiped down the trailer has been charged with accessory after the fact, that starts in the fall I believe.

Perfect situation for the death penalty. They fricken burned this guys body to hide the evidence.  
 
It's a complete horror story. For one family anyways.  
 
One guy has money and thinks he is above the law , tries to get stories changed from behind bars , has a close knit inner circle that enjoys his money.  
 
Sickening story of a dude that could afford many new trucks but steals things for the fun of it.  
 
Why waste taxpayers money on keeping guys like this alive? Whoever is found guilty should receive the same fate they put poor mr Bosma through!!!!

This is a sick situation. I had missed that she was going up too. Found it hilarious that the courtroom was laughing at her ridiculous testimony.  
 
It was actually Millards mother, I thought it was hers for some reason.  
 
I worry about all the gang that was left behind . Are they going to try and keep up this lifestyle that they became a custom to, or will they be scared straight if the two ring leaders go to jail for a very long time?
