Home resale values decline in Q1 of 2008

It looks like for the first time in seven years, home resale values declined in the first quarter of this year in Canada:

I'm not 100% sure how the local market compares. I've been following things fairly closely and it does seem to have at least stabalized after the big jump over the last several months. Although there are other factors at play locally that make us different from the inflated prices in Alberta & BC, one can hope for home buyers' sake that things are close to plateauing.
