Shammatawa disaster-donations?

Does anyone know whether there is any charitable organization (eg Red Cross) launching a relief effort to get food and supplies up there? I would love to donate-to help those folks out, just don't know where.

Call the Red Cross office and see for sure but it sounds like , at least according to this article, that they are working with federal dollars right now and don't need monetary donations at this time.

are acting on this and people can make donations to them. You have to realize that the only store in that town has burned down, and Shamattawa is only accessible by air-that means-no diapers, formula, fruits, milk, vegetables, etc, etc, except what the residents have on hand-they need help!

Perimeter airlines

Perimeter Airlines in both Thompson and Winnipeg are accepting donations to be flown into Sham
I added a picture of the flyer they have put out regarding this
If anyone is heading into Winnipeg soon maybe they could gather some donations to be dropped off
