A food delivery truck driver was stabbed in the 500 block of 11th Street.

Driver should have just handed the stuff over and he probably would not have been stabbed. He was a block away from the police station after all.

I have my favotite version right at my door caught a prowler once called police ...took 10 min for them to show up and a didn't have a butcher knife stuck in me so was able to call next time maybe not so fortunate

i would agree with black star , it is a gateway drug and justin wants to be loved by all so he pushes ahead with drug legalization.

Do some research before you start spewing garbage. It is not a gateway drug. When is the last time you heard of someone getting stabbed because they were stoned? Probably never because that's not what Mary Jane is like.

Has the fact that someone was robbed and stabbed escaped you!?!? That should be the topic and not the legalization or non legalization of pot for pete sakes.  
 
and just for the record.....I think it should be legalized and tax the hell out of it .... but I am far more concerned that a delivery driver out there doing his job was stabbed at 230 in the afternoon. WTH is going on in this city.

I know it's off topic and I sincerely hope the delivery driver has a speedy recovery.  
 
It just really gets to me when someone says that it's a gateway drug. If you don't know enough or haven't tried it then don't give your two cents on something you have no clue about.

A guy who was stoned wouldn't move fast enough to stab anyone even if he had the inclination to do that instead of chilling out and eating the delivery food.

I have to say all of you guys should be ashamed of yourself. A delivery drive got stabbed in the middle of the day doing his job. All you guy have to talk about is the drugs that the stabber was on/using and putting the blame on the drive for getting stabbed. Jesus Brandon get your head out of the clouds. I am a delivery drive and I going to say this most of us do this job to get extra cash to pay bills or is a second job. It bad enough the we drive our car, use our gas,risk getting in accidents and dealing with drunks to get no tip on top of that, now we have to worry about getting stabbed in the middle of the day.  
 
He is someones kid, He is also apart of a delivery team the gets your food to you Brandon. Please for crying out load be respectful of other ppl and your delivery driver. If this was me that got stabbed and I had to read this I would I have a few choice words to say to all you. I am sure if this was your kid your statements would change real quick, Shame on you Brandon grown up and get your head out of the clouds before its your kids

Yes I know he was stabbed, and I feel sorry for him. Nobody should be endangered like that doing such a job.

All kidding aside, they are getting very brazen, and yeah, it's going to get worse.

Your right, it will get worse before it gets better. And, since we are becoming a society that now shames the victim and feel sorry for the criminal, I'm starting to think the Americans have it right with their concealed carry permits. Criminals need more harsh punishment as deterrent so these types of situations cease. It's downright pathetic what criminals do and get away with.

Before you judge someone in that situation for not handing stuff over, you should take into consideration that the driver actually had no time to do anything because the criminal had already pulled the knife out and started stabbing at the driver right after demanding the cash and keys.

I work in a bank and when someone decides to rob a bank, you give the money no questions asked.You don''''t hit the alarm until they leave because it avoids a potential hostage situation.  
 
I stand by my statement that he should have handed his stuff over, he might not have gotten stabbed.

This just anger me. Next time you get your food deliver to you, apologies to the driver for your words.  
 
oh and pay the way there a different kind of scum bag that will rob a bank then those the rob a delivry driver.
