How Comfortable Do you Feel About Thrift Store Shopping Now?

Thinking I'd like to visit local thrift stores in Brandon. Have you gone? Do you feel "safe" shopping during Covid? Plan would be to go early (10 AM?) early in the week. Would love to hear your thoughts, safety precautions, etc.

No problems what so ever.. mask is on. The two that I visited had hand sanitizers at the door. Anything that I purchased I washed anyhow. I would go back again.

the one I went to they were careful with how many customers in the store sanitizing hands etc. I have no problem feeling safe while shopping.

Just because it’s second hand doesn’t make it dirty or any more prone to covid ? Just go as you would any other store ..

Go and shop to your hearts content. Wear the mask, sanitize and have no fear.

Then other stores-only so many customers allowed in, just keep your distance, where your mask, carry hand sanitizer to use after touching stuff .
Just treat it like any other store. Wash the clothes you buy and any merchandise when you get home, just as you always do or should.

Not at all comfortable about shopping of any kind in person right now and we try to avoid it. Covid case numbers are again rising in Manitoba and several new variants are in circulation.

Nearly New and MCC have staff at the door and are careful to remind people to wear their masks properly at all times. And they have very limited numbers. I have seen many masks pulled down and worn below the nose at other thrift shops, so that makes me uncomfortable

My wife works in a grocery store where they constantly have to remind customers to wear masks, socially distance and follow covid protocols respecting numbers etc.

....are excellent with monitoring people wearing masks and how many people are in the store and sanitizing. One is not so great, IMHO.

Is just not in Thrift Shops unfortunately everywhere you shop you will see the odd person wearing them under the nose.
