i have found lots of threads about this all over the internet.. but can't quite find what i'm searching for.  
 
Started using the diva cup due to health concerns but i feel like its too big for me.  
Its almost like a pressure pushing outward.  
Not that its super uncomfortable or anything... just wondering if there is different option available in Canada that someone has tried.  
 
I've also discovered i have a very high cervix... can barely reach the stem. If someone has had experience or knows of a cup that maybe more slender but still quite long?  
 
Suggestions would be delightful.

Lunette and the Lady Cup. They are softer and depending on size, smaller, they work great!

There are many different kinds available for order online, not sure if this is an option for you. The "lunette" is the longest from tip to base of cup, where as the "mini classic Meluna" in the shortest. There is also one called the "ladycup". What I did was to order a few online (price is fairly reasonable) to find the one that worked for me. Send me a PM if you would like more info

Before you go investing in another cup, are you sure that you're inserting it correctly? If you are having a hard time even reaching the stem, maybe you're placing it too high? It's not supposed to sit as high as a tampon, only about 2/3 of the way compared to that. I know if I place my too high, I feel more pressure than if I have it placed correctly.  
 
I have the opposite problem, I found the stem too long. I just trimmed the stem right off (even through the instructions say not to, LOL), and have no more problems.

I have been using a diva cup for over about a decade now and I can remember how frustrating and uncomfortable it was when I first started using it. It takes a few cycles before you really get on to it. I know sometimes mine can be hard to fish out but there are ways to push it out a bit (google bearing down+diva cup)  
i know there are sometimes when I would feel this pressure you are speaking of but I'll just remove it and reinsert. Could be it's not opened up all the way and the edge is pushing on your cervix and making you uncomfortable.  
How long have you been using the cup? It really does take time to get used to it. There is an adjustment period and it will feel a little strange at first. Push through, you'll be fine.

It doesnt feel uncomfortable when it first goes in... and it does pop open.. as i do check.  
 
throughout the day..(i sit at a desk)... i feel like its pushing against my abdomen. not sure how else to describe it. Like its too big.  
 
as for inserting to high.. i do only put it in 2/3 or even less... just seems to suck its self into the position it wants to be in.  
At first i struggled a LOT trying to get it out. at one point i thought i'd need to get some help hah.  
I'm better now, although i do find it very hard to reach. (i also use the nuvaring.. and struggle getting it out also. Apparently your supposed to be able to reach your cervix with your finger... not so much in my case.)  
As for the "bearing -down" that has been the only way i can get it out mostly. it works pretty decent.  
 
I really do like it...other than the "full feeling" that i seem to be getting. I'm more than happy to deal with it.. just curious others thoughts.

soft cups are great.

But they are also expensive
