    Any idea if/where there might’ve been a strike in town within the last 15-20? Flash and (extremely loud) bang were pretty much in sync, but closest the lightning map shows is a few KM east of the airport..

    Not sure, but I know around 10:30pm I noticed a huge flash last night and then my power went out for a split moment (Stickney area).

    Quite the show last night and I wondered about that strike around 9.30. I live in the south end and the lights flickered around 10.30.

    Never did see smoke, must've just been a tree or something of the ilk.  
     
    Story is all about rain now... yikes. With how radar is lining up, if things go the way they're going it wouldn't be surprising to see some real overland issues by lunch time.

    Last night my electricity flickered a few times, then a couple minutes later at 10:26 my power shut off for maybe two seconds. It was a nice huge boomer!!! There were a couple impressive thunder claps last night, loved the show
