No surprise with the crazy heat and other elements at play... tornado watch just issued for Western Manitoba just a little West of Brandon into Sask and going both North and South. Watch is of course not warning that one is imminently happening, but that the right dynamics are in place for one to potentially be part of a severe storm that develops.  
 
Nothing for Brandon yet, where I'd think they'll issue watches progressively East as the afternoon goes on whether that's for tornado threat or for severe t-storms with all of the other stuff that goes with them.

No watches or warnings for Brandon right now beyond the heat warning. Some pretty nasty storms with warnings entering the province with most severe areas impacting a little further north than Brandon. Our hourly forecast shows best chance of anything starting at the 9pm hour into early morning… at 30%. With how charged things are Id still pay good attention to watches or warnings, especially if having any plans later!
