Something for the weather forecast cynics

As many might know, eBrandon tracks a wide array of weather data for Brandon. One of the things we do here that you won't find anywhere else is compare what the daytime high temperature ended up being to what it was forecasted to be 1, 2 and 3 days previous.
I was having a look through the March data this morning, and was interested to see just how accurate on average Environment Canada is at predicting the daytime high temperature.
In March, the daytime high for Brandon was within an average of 2.1 degrees of what it was predicted to be the day before.
Two days before, it was still on average within 2.2 degrees
And the one that I was most impressed with.. three days before it was still within an average of 2.5 degrees
Of course there are exceptions. On the 11th, our actual high of -17.9 was a full 6.9 degrees off of the predicted -11.
Note that these stats only include 26 of 31 days.. 5 days weren't tracked as a result of a since-fixed bug.. but it should give a good idea of what the average accuracy was!
