The Alberta clipper or Simply Chinooks.
Well the wife yelled down to me tonight and asked If I ever heard of the a weather "event" called the Manitoba Mauler as she heard on TV??
Nope never have but thats what the weather people in Minnesota says is hitting them now. A Manitoba Mauler. I googled that term and found The Saskatchewan Screamer was also out there. Where is that list of cool terms??
One web site I visited asked if these were weather terms or names for wrestlers!!
Anyways the term overcast In our areas weather forecast can mean 4 inches of white crap to shovel next day!!
