Severe t-storm potential for late afternoon (watch ended)
5/28/2010 at 1:13 PM
Just reading the forecast and it sounds like conditions are very favourable for severe storms to flare up late-afternoon in Southwestern Manitoba. The source I use is saying that "theromodynamics are ideal for supercell development" late afternoon/early evening in Southwestern Manitoba. That includes potential for large hail and maybe even tornadoes in the worst-case scenario. Tornadic potential would be late-afternoon, early evening they are saying that the main threat would be damaging winds along with large hail.
As always, this doesn't mean that something severe is going to happen.. and it definitely doesn't necessarily mean it will effect Brandon.
